I'm extremely touched.
The banner, the balloons, the cake, the candles, the video...
I was rushing down the stairs and nagging at ruoyu and vicki to hurry when I stopped midsentence. I was stunned beyond words when I saw the balloons tied to the handrail. :)
And then I got blindfolded. (SCARY!) And when I removed the blindfold much later, I totally lost the ability to speak. Hanging from the circular block was the banner, a colourful "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAT" splashed across it. The balloons came parachuting down, while the rest carried the cake and sang the birthday song.
I haven't had a cake in 800 donkey years, what's more blow candles. But I did it today! :)
The video's such a
sweet thing. The messages were packed with love, and the songs were all my favourites! I laughed so much at the video clips in which you all tried imitating me. [NAT THE "RAPIST"], [HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL], [HOW TO TEST A BED], [CRACK BACK], [SHAMPOO AD], [NAT THE ACT CUTE], [NAT@AHLIAN.COM] =)
And I came to realise you guys have been trying to keep it from me. I assumed you all were talking about the "tennis banner" which turned out to be my birthday banner. You people were
always disappearing during recess to "meet teachers" but you guys were busy making the video. Awwww...I appreciate it! =)
You guys really made my day, and I'm thankful for all the
birthday wishes (even one all the way from KOREA!), birthday smses, hugs, songs, for remembering, for loving me and for all the effort you all put in to make this day special.
