I forgot to mention one teacher.

Miss Candice Goh! Our senior turned relief teacher when Mrs Ang was on maternity leave in the beginning of the year. The three months zoomed by, and the wacky amaths lessons were history. She's been a great help and I sure hope she's doing fine (especially with her driving! haha.)

Anyway, did I ever mention how much I love my sister! This is a far cry from what I actually felt when I was younger, when I harboured evil thoughts about her and sibling rivalry was rife. I'm very close to her now, and I'm glad I got over that childish sibling rivalry thing. She called and we engaged in small talk for a while and then I exploded and asked her if she had watched HSM. (Yes yes I'm slow.)

And lo and behold, on the other side of the globe, she made a sound that sounded like a squeal and laughed, and gushed about how cute zac efron was. Can you imagine a grown woman with two kids squealing with her 15 year old sister over some teen popstar?

Her daughter snatched the phone from her and started talking to me in that sleek ang-moh accent of hers. I had some difficulties understanding her, and she had difficulties understanding my singaporean lilt.

Everytime I talk to her, the age gap doesn't really matter anymore. It's really funny how millions of people have said we look alike. It's quite impossible to look like her, since many have said she looks like her mom. And now I look like her. Amazing.

Bottomline is, rita's a great person.

And she's my sister. =)

Today was an absolutely drama day, for mom, that is.

She was awakened by a call early in the morning from one of the delivery drivers, who said that five loaves was broken into, and that the safe containing 8k was stolen.

The kaypoh person in me stirred to life as I threw aside my blanket and begged to go down to the office so I could catch a glimpse at the (hopefully) cute policemen that would be there. Yah right, go bang your head on the wall if you believed I'm such a bimbo. I just wanted to go and kaypoh abit lah, and see the broken glass window.

I didn't get to go in the end.

Mom said the policemen suspected it was an inside job, and honestly, I believe so too. I know the people there, and there's just too many coincidences. I'll just leave it to the heroes in blue to catch the person, after all, it's their job to be...heroic?

=)
