Hello world, I'm back from Budapest!
It really doesnt matter where you go, it's the company that matters. We all missed home, but the laughter helped. (:
Rooming with germs was ultimate, because we have countless retarded and funny moments. Now I'll have to get used to falling asleep without having anyone to talk to.
I'll miss eating dinner with the usual people, namely germs, brenda, weihao (aka haohaoz), wilson, hongjie and occasionally bobo! We make the most noise because there's always something funny happening during dinner.
I'll miss walking into town everyday to shop at the christmas market, and just carolling along the roads leading into town. Everyone just stops and smiles despite the cold. Being the reason behind someone elses' smile is just wonderful.
I'll miss singing random songs on the bus, like the silly alleluia song which we sang probably about 800 times.
I'll miss the scrambled eggs and apple juice in the morning! And the smells of local food and hot chocolate and sounds people catching up in the christmas market! I'll never find that at the pasar malam.
I'll miss seeing little toddlers walking around wrapped in many layers until they look like little adorable dumplings.
And of course, the squeaky clean public toilets will be dearly missed.
The altos all have new names. Brenda's towkayneo, germs taitai, liusha xiaojie and guess who's aunty?
Unglam to the max.
