Adrian's wedding yesterday! The bell boys and flower girls were really cute in their pretty dresses and tiny suits and bow ties and tiny corsages. Everyone just dissolved into silly smiles when josh and jerome entered holding hands, and nobody minded that they weren't able to walk down the aisle in a straight line.
So anyway, during dinner we anti social people escaped to the youth room and we started talking about marriage and somehow landy and karen started to share their story with us.
I laughed so hard when karen grabbed my hand and tried to demonstrate how he nervously held her hand for the first time. When karen announced that she was his first and only, it made me think of all those people who tell me they dream about marrying their first love; and I guess it's really possible!
I still remember when landy was driving and talking on his phone, and when he stopped at a red light, karen pulled up in the car next to us, wound down the window and said, "You want to die is it?!" and after that landy obediently hung up and drove with two hands on the steering wheel. Haha. They still act like newlyweds, even with two kids in tow.
(:
I went back to tk last week. I saw the new pond for the first time. I feel so swaku. I was so amazed, I think I prolly looked like I've never seen a pond before in my entire life. I just didn't know it has been there since early in the year la okay, hence the excitement.
We dropped by stringE practice, and I realised I don't recognise half the ensemble anymore! So many sec ones. Abit strange to see them in our white name tags too. I still think white's the best colour of the 4; I'm glad our batch got that colour. Haha. There was a particular pair, who kept stealing glances at us, so amazed to see us in jc uniform.
Girl A : *turns around and pretends to look at the clock*
Girl B: *follows suit*
Girl A: *tries to whisper unsuccessfully*Eh, why got jc people ah?
Girl B: *continues stealing glances at us*
But that aside, I'm so proud of stringE now, especially the cello juniors! I guess under the new conductor they've improved alot and they sound pretty good. I kinda miss string practices, although I don't miss lugging the cello to school. :D
We dropped by the external mep class, and we chatted with miss ng for a while. I miss mep lessons too! Even though mep was hell during the time leading up to the Os. Especially the composing, fighting for ms ng and ms sim's attention, and typing it in sibelius which made all our eyes hurt, and the printing of cover pages and program notes, which I never want to experience ever again.
I didn't see uncle dollah or hear him singing in school though! I don't understand what he says most of the time but he's such a cute person everyone in tk loves him! I hope he hasn't retired.
As we walked along, vicki pointed out the places that held memories for her, and I guess there isn't one corner where there aren't memories. Okay well, maybe the d&t block. Haha.
Life's good when you take out those happy moments and relive them.
(:
