Christmas is over.
And so commences the long wait for the next Christmas.
The end of 2007's actually here; and it's time for my mandatory reflect-back-on-the-year post.
Once again, I am superbly amazed at the speed of which time ticked by. If I were to pen down the things I've yet to accomplish, it'd fill up a page probably as long as my arm.
I had a rather eventful 2007; as I believe everyone else did too.
I was lifted to the heights of joy, and then I was plunged into a black abyss. Repeat the cycle approximately 2000 times to sum up my year.
But I take heart in the knowledge that I was never alone.
Dear Jesus, thank you for being so close to me, always giving me the strength and courage to face whatever came my way and for always keeping your arms open for me to seek comfort.
To the friends whom I love so dearly, thank you for always telling me the truth even though you knew the truth wasn't what I wanted to hear at times, for always surprising me by saying something nice about me and actually meaning it.
I'm now absolutely convinced that my love language is words of affirmation. (:
Many thanks to everyone else who've made my 2007 more fun, special and memorable.
I do have regrets. I shouldn't have said that, why didn't I do that, I could've handled this better. I've learnt my lessons, and I know these experiences will aid me in handling future situations.
2008 marks the beginning of a new experience; and I know we'll all have a fantastic and an equally unforgettable year ahead!
