Today was such a funny day. Or maybe I'm just easily amused.
I crossed the finishing line holding my left shoe in my hand and the whole world saw my holey left sock.
MEP was total retarded-ness. We intended to get part of essay #1 done at the library. But we ended up bitching about some people, laughing at shilbe's favourite hand action, and laughing more. So guess what? We only did 1/16th of the entire essay (surprise, surprise).
It's been quite some time since we laughed like that together. Hence, I'm feeling happy tonight!
I'm a tad embarrassed to post this, but I don't get such comments every day, so what the heck. Here goes.
"So, whose daughter are you?"
"Rebecca."
"Rebecca...?"
Chelsea butts in and says, "Wim Turambi."
"Oh! Turambi's daughter!
But you look so beautiful, I don't see the resemblance!"
The room went silent.
Probably because no one agreed with what (Aunty/Teacher/Miss)Judy said about me, but were too polite to disagree aloud. Or maybe they were resisting the urge to snort.
