the head turner
See me;
Saturday, April 21, 2007

Little snatches of memories from my childhood, albeit a little blur, still brings cheer to my otherwise sleepy life. They keep me going.

This reminds me, I've been seeing alot of Yifeng recently. I always take approximately 800 years deliberating on whether to say hi. By the time I make up my mind, he's either gone further back to the bus or looked away.

Let me tell you a secret, I'm rather disturbed by our differences in height. I used to be taller than him. In primary school.

Anyways, the other time he sat right next to me, I was too stunned to say anything.

It would have been weird, I mean really weird, if I suddenly said hi a few bus stops later.

I tried to imagine the scenario below. And I burst out laughing.

Yifeng gets onto 31 at kallang. I bite my lip and decide whether to say hi. Finally, at old airport road (a good 7 minutes later)...

"Oh! Hello there Yifeng, *fake embarrassed laughter* as you can see I'm too engrossed in my novel so I didn't see you there! *fake embarrassed laughter again* So, yes, hello!"

That is so not me.

That's just plain bimbotic, retarded and crazy rolled into one.

Have I mentioned that that is so not me?

Shudder.
