the head turner
See me;
Friday, April 27, 2007

It hasn't been a fantastic week, and I can't emphasize enough how glad - relieved, even - I am now that it's over.

I know I've been chanting "into each life some rain must fall" (trying to comfort myself, you see), but I wasn't exactly wishing for a heavy downpour today.

I've become mentally retarded, I tell you. I was absently patting my half drenched pinafore and I saw the lorry heading towards the bus stop. But my mentally retarded brain didn't process that. Everyone else (including the cleaner aunties) at the bus stop stepped back and shrieked, while I just retardedly stood there and stared into space. How brilliant.

Everything registered only when the lorry sped past, spraying what seemed like half a gallon of water onto me.

And then I really felt like S to the H to the I to the T.

I'm praying doubly hard that life will be easy on me next week.

I don't know, with the unhappy stuff in school, stress from syf and midyears, I wonder what happened to everyone. I feel like things have changed between us, the 4/5 and 4/6 people. I don't know.

Random comment, I like this - "She's got you falling head over heels...and I can't even make you stumble!"

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY YIXIU! =)
