I've timed my speech. It's a freaking no time for mistakes or mispronounced words 2:40. Which leaves me approximately 20seconds for rebuttal.
I need about 3 seconds to blow my nose/swallow saliva. So that leaves me with a pathetic 17 seconds for rebuttal.
Then I'd need to take into account that my mind will go blank and I'll say "uh...uh..." for about 2 seconds.
So that leaves me with a grand total of 15 precious seconds for rebuttal.
