I was sooooo bloody happy when I saw that the school gates were open. Jumping out of the moving car, (and got lectured for pulling such a dangerous stunt afterward) I ran to the canteen, but there was absolutely no sign of my stuff I left behind.
Without thinking I ran to the GO, ignoring the wet, cold stuff (mud, I presume) that stuck to my feet as I ran into puddles. I pushed the side of the door that was locked. And I wanted to cry. Without trying the other door, I turned and walked away.
And then...
"Uncle DOOOOLLLLAAHHHH!!" MISS TERRY! I made some gasping sound as I turned (which came out slightly orgasmic) and Miss Terry stared at me like I was some
drop dead gorgeous girl alien. I ran towards her and blurted everything out in a jumbled mess of words.
And she actually helped me search for my bio stuff at the GO! At 8something at night! :)
I can't thank God enough for this little, little miracle. I don't think it's merely a coincidence that the school had a dinner for the scholars tonight. I don't think it's a coincidence that Ms Terry happened to come out of the GO at that exact moment.
I'm a happy girl!
Okay, maybe not that happy, since Ruoyu has mentioned that I've been looking "haggard" and that I "get frustrated easily" for the past week.
