I've been hit by a sudden wave of positivity, just in time for the arrival of the new year. :)

Why is that, that the only thing we want to say, and the one thing we should say, is the only thing we don't say?

'I Love You' isn't too easy to say, much due to the embarrassment we're afraid of causing. Hesitation sets in, and we never really get down to saying the actual words. Desperate to get the idea across, we try to do so in another way.

A text msg that says "It's raining, so take your time walking here. Be careful!" (thanks shilbe darling for always reminding me to be careful!) But really, it translates into "I don't want anything to happen to you." Sometimes, even, "I love you."

An impulsive hug, a little note with a big smiley at the end, an unexpected phone call/text msg ("You take care of yourself ah. Must eat more nutritious stuff. Be happy ok!" coming all the way from thailand from that lee ruoyu) means that someone's trying to tell you that you're loved.

I've been blessed with so much love this year, there's nothing more I could ask for.

I'm hoping it'll be a great year ahead! With lots of love too, of course.
Yay.
