Xi'an is like some far fetched place. Like as if I visited it in a dream. It's so hard to leave it all behind. Alright, although I've never openly admitted it, I do miss my desk partner.

Even though he's damnit quiet. Even though he mumbles. He still is my desk partner!

I miss the Maris Stella guys who joined us after Sunday. Even though they are DAMN irritating, there are some individuals who are nice.

JinYang. Thanks for being so gentlemanly!
Nicholas. HMMM. Nothing to thank him for. "Thank you" for taking sneak shots of uh, me and all of us. "Thank you" for telling the guide my name, then I felt obliged to go up there and malu myself.
Mr Red Shirt, JIAN DA. Thank you for being so willing to take photos for me! Although you NEVER say 123 or anything to indicate you're snapping away. "Thank you" for saying my chinese name is ahem, nice. Call me natasha, please!
Gavin. Thanks for waving back at me? Hahaha.

Day#1
Ivy's bro is damn sweet. 'nuff said. I DO NOT like him.
After checking in and all, we all waved at the parents outside. I had no one to wave to since mom left, but I just waved. :)

All I did was eat and sleep. Then poof! I arrived at Guangzhou airport. The immigration officer refused to let me pass. He insisted that I wasn't the person in my passport photo. He made me take off my specs, then he studied me, then he called another officer. Then they discussed in their heavily-accented chinese. Of which I caught words like, "it's not her!" Minutes later, they finally finally finally let me cross.

Ivy was whisked away cos she was honest and declared she had cough.

Flew to Xi'an. A cold blast of air greeted me. Absolutely welcoming. Had dinner in this restaurant like room, and were treated like royal guests. Headed back up to our cell-like rooms, then back down to the bathroom. I had no idea what was in store for me.

I had the fattest shock of my life when I walked in. Everyone was just making so much noise. It then dawned upon me that there were no doors. Heck, there wasn't even shower curtains. We finally showered cos we had no choice. One word. AWKWARD.

Ah. I shan't continue. Something's just wrong with me. Ever since landing at Changi last night, I've been feeling all sorts of negative feelings. Nothing to do with leaving Xi'an. These feelings have been in my subconcious mind all the while. All the time spent on the plane gazing at clouds just made it all slam right into me. Damn it.

David called. I swear he's trying to matchmake me with Gary. Like as if I remember how he looks like 8 years ago, what's more now? And hello, we are worlds apart. Literally. And he's like bribing me with "egg sandwiches" to go over to California to visit. DOTS LA. And and, he told me to heck all my exams.

That's the way my brother treats me, IVY. I want YOUR brother.
