39th Memorial Service in Commemoration of Civilian Victims during the Japanese Occupation.
Gosh, that was sure a mouthful. Attended it today. A really simple yet meaningful ceremony. Although the ashes were flying everywhere, it was a real eye opener. The band played the usual sad sombre music, it really was nice. There was this malay guy that said bye after the service was over. I thought he was talking to syikin but liqin insisted that he was talking to me. Haha.
And then we saw japanese students!!!! No takuya kimura lookalikes though. Haha. But the guys stopped and bowed and waved and greeted us in the middle of the road. Haha. So cute. As in, funny cute.
We played animal farm concentration game during EL. Mdm Surayah didn't turn up. Laughed and laughed and laughed. =)
