it's been exactly a week. one whole week. i wonder what i feel; and why i feel that way. it's a funny feeling, and it has never happened to me before. i guess slowly, i'll be able to forget this whole episode. but in my heart of hearts, i know i'm waiting for a miracle...

Day 4 (part 1)
Was instructed to wake at 3am. The night before I took the flu med uncle lawrence gave me, it was supposed to make me sleep like a pig and not wake up. But apparently, my body did not react. I was wide awake till around 1am. The next thing I knew, mom was shaking me and saying that the whole world was awake. MY FOOT. I summoned all my energy and stood up. Then I froze. To make the story short, I learnt that Mr M decided to pay me a visit.

"STUPID GIRL!"
that was the first thing that mom said. wahlau, like it's my fault like that. I ordered her to go up to chel's room to get a sanitary pad while I wash up. What rotten luck! Anyway, i dressed bundled myself up in 4 layers. And I was ready to go!

We all piled into 4WDs. I was in number 3, with uncle jimmy, auntie lina, cher, chel, vieny and mom. It was cold, but way cool. It's like having winter in Indonesia. Laughed over the puffs of vapour that came out of our mouths. The sunrise wasn't that majestic, but it was okay. Then we went to climb Mt Bromo, an active volcano.

I was given a card with the name NIMAN written on it. I don't know whether it's the name of the guy or the horse. But anyway, I couldn't get onto the horse on the first try. So he practically lifted me and deposited me onto the horse. Haha. I was so afraid I would tire the horse. Anyway, on the way up, pastor's horse farted and shitted right in front of ME. Upon arrival to the foot of the volcano, we had to climb 250 steps to get to the crater. The smell of sulphur was everywhere. Went up, took photos, came down.

Started feeling dizzy. The mountains around Mt Bromo seemed to be moving. Quickly went down with mom. By the time we reached the bottom, my left leg was shaking really badly. I went to look for my guy and I got up onto the horse on the first try! With the help of another guy, though. Went back and Teguh had to carry me down. Teguh's the tour guide. He speaks fantastic english!

It's such a pity I lost the photos of me and my horse. It was a blessing that I had a blocked nose, some people were complaining about the terrible smell of the horses. Mom tipped her jockey and I tipped mine too. I mean, come on, they walk with you and the horse up, they even step on horseshit, what more do u want?

Went back, had breakfast. I couldn't stand it, so i decided to take a shower, although the heater there doesn't work. We went took the minibus down before hopping onto our comfy bus and preparing for our drive to the tip of East Java before taking ship to Bali.

I was damn tired by then, i mean, we all were. The kids were forced to sit in front and slp. So me chel and cher took the back seats. My backache did not allow me to slp. It hurt so much, and everyone was asleep, so I refrained from crying out.

to be continued...
