TO ALL MY DARLINGS IN SINGAPORE, I'M BACK! I actually didn't wanna come back.

The whole East Java-Bali trip was wonderful. I shall cut the whole load of crap that's forming in my mind and get down to the details of my trip.

Day 1
Flight was at 7.30, so checked in at 5.30. Met a damn shit hot angmoh. If that didn't register, let me repeat myself, a DAMN HOT ANGMOH. And I had the honour and privilege of sitting across the aisle from him. Transited at Jakarta, and arrived at Surabaya. Took bus to Batu. Freezing cold. Went out to some night market for dinner. It was only 7.30 there (8.30 singapore time) but it was so dark and cold. Let me introduce some nice dishes.

Bakso beef ball noodles
Pangsit Mie sounds abit bian tai, but it's actually like our wantan mee
Warung the food at warung stalls are like our zhichar stalls
Tempe ____(forgot) it's flattened tempe with sambal

Day 2
Didn't have a good night's sleep, and the sun rises damn early. At about 5 it's sunny and cheery, despite the cold weather, since we're on a mountain. Went over to chel's room and played heart attack with all the kids till breakfast time. Had breakfast. Visit to apple garden and thereafter Jatim Theme Park. The viking there didn't seem scary, but man...it was. I was running a fever by then. Poor me huh. We were supposed to go to Songgoriti hot spring, but it turned out that the water there is not the natural kind. Bottomline, the place sucked. So we all trooped back to the bus, we were then brought to see the house that azahari was bombed in. The final stop of the day, some swimming pool place. The kids went down, while i rested in the bus.

We went for dinner that evening at Klub Bunga, this really posh hotel. We all decided to sit outside. Man, it was totally romantica. The view was awesome! The lighted candle on the table, plus the breeze and the lights that line the mountain...it just took my breath away. They even had a live band singing love songs. I ordered Fettucine Asiatalica. It took damn long to arrive but it was worth the wait. Every mouthful exploded into exotic tastes. It cost like 30 000 rupiah. RUPIAH. enough said.

Day 3
After breakfast, I wanted to buy the soft toy. But the shop wasn't open, and I was told that Tuesdays are a holiday for muslims there. Disappointment. Checked out; had a city tour of Malang. Advocadoes are in season, and it's so cheap! We then drove to Lava View Hotel. The mist(or fog?) grew thicker as we went higher. It made it look like we were on the set of a horror movie. SO COLD! Honestly, I hated this hotel. I don't have to say more, do I?

I shall stop here, since i'm very sure that you guys would fall asleep if i continue typing until day 8. shall continue another time.

Just to add emphasis- my trip was WONDERFUL!
auntie sian said that i looked like a balinese woman.
is that meant to be a compliment?
i definitely hope so...

so until my next update on my trip to indonesia, TATA!
