am i happy?
i seriously don't know.
went to immigration this morning. to renew the pr thingy. took a cab cuz dad didn't wanna drive. when we arrived, we all realized that dad didn't bring his wallet. HOW NICE. i thought i had cash, so i opened my wallet, and HALLELUJAH!
no cash. gah. lucky mummy had some notes. haha. filled forms, queued up, and was done in say, 25 minutes?
went back home. felt bored. mummy suggested we go out for lunch. so yeah. went down to dhoby ghaut [is that how you spell it?] then walked down to orchard. shopped. ate at Ling Zhi Restaurant at Liat Towers. The waiter that served us looked real beng. i mean it.
BENG. he had highlighted his hair a bright shade of yellow. [yikes!] so bright, could have just worn my shades. haha. not funny. yeah. BUT. when he opened his mouth. i was hell shocked. totally. he was like, "Excuse me Sir, but would you like tea?" in perfect ang-moh style english. my jaw fell to the floor. haha. well. i guess that explains what they mean by [don't judge a book by its' cover].
after lunch. shopped somemore. mummy bought a hair clip for me. you know those kind...the shining type? i asked her why she suddenly become so nice to me and you know what she said??
"Oh.I have a voucher for this mah. So use the voucher lor."
gah. what a nice mummy she is. HAH.
came back. rested for a moment, then dad drove us to auntie mavis house. her maid, indrah, is leaving her and going back to sri lanka for good. lucky maid, her family is safe and sound in sri lanka. the tsunami's really scary. brining old clothes and some cash on saturday to church. so many lives lost. what a pity. poor lil things.
okay. holidays are ending. should i jump up and hit the ceiling with joy? or should i sit there and sulk? GOSH. the holiday just
ZOOOOMS by. it's gonna be another new year. sigh. new school year, new teachers, new challenges........ sigh. just hope everyone has had a fufilling year in 2004~
